The likes of Pragyan Ojha, Robin Uthappa, Akash Chopra, Suresh Raina, RP Singh, Parthiv Patel etc. Got together for a show on Jio Cinema where they voted to choose All Time 11.
In terms of captaincy, Oza chose Rohit Sharma over MS Dhoni as the Mumbai Indians skipper has won more trophies than his Chennai Super Kings counterpart.
“If you try to compare them, they are very similar. They are both the captains of the bowlers. I go by titles only because in this comparison, Rohit Sharma has more titles than MS Dhoni. When you talk about All Time 11. Great guys, winning five titles in 15 years is not a great achievement,” Oza said.
Talking about the selection, Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli came as the two opening batsmen. When the topic of No.3 batsman came up, KL Rahul’s suggestions came up but Uthappa argued that Karnataka batsmen are yet to stand the ‘test of time’.
Uthappa said, “When you are selecting these players, the test of time is also a factor. KL has got a lot of time left and a lot of cricket to play,” Uthappa said.
That’s why Suresh Raina came at number three. After that there was Rohat Sharma at number 4, AB de Villiers at number 5 and MS Dhoni at number 6.
