Must have happened. Well, till now two songs of the film have been released and both have gained immense popularity among the fans. However, ‘Besharam Rang’ has invited a lot of controversies. Despite all this, the Central Board of Film Certification has given the film a UA certificate after ten cuts made on the recommendations of the CBFC. 10 cuts have been made in ‘Pathan’.
‘Pathan’ gets U/A certificate
According to a report in ‘Bollywood Hungama’, CBFC has imposed 10 cuts in the film and after that Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone Padukone and John Abraham’s film (Pathan) got a U/A certificate. As mentioned in the certificate, the length of the film is 146 minutes. ‘Pathan’ is 2 hours 26 minutes long. However, it is not clear whether the saffron bikini, which created a lot of ruckus after the release of the song ‘Besharam Rang’, has been asked to be removed or not.
Objection on the scenes of ‘Pathan’
The moment Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s first song ‘Besharam Rang’ from ‘Pathan’ released, it took the internet by storm and how! Some loved the peppy track but some found Deepika objectionable in the saffron and green bikini. Some activists staged a protest in Indore and burnt effigies of Deepika and Shahrukh. Even Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra while talking to media persons a few days after the release of ‘Besharam Rang’ openly objected to the use of saffron cloth in the song. He said that there are some objectionable scenes in the film and if those scenes are not changed, Pathan will be banned in Madhya Pradesh.

Talking about styling Deepika Padukone in the song, the stylish Shaleena Nathani said, ‘I was also excited to make this song like you’ve never seen it before. I wanted the clothes to be very different from what you would see in such songs. Even the swimsuits that she is wearing, the colors that we have used. I wanted to do something that will hopefully last for a long time.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in director Atlee’s new film ‘Jawaan’ opposite Nayanthara and then with director Rajkumar Hirani in ‘Danky’ opposite Taapsee Pannu for the first time. Both the films are going to release next year.

Deepika has an interesting lineup of films. She will be seen in ‘Pathan’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The film is releasing on 25 January 2023.
