Actress Kangana Ranaut took a trip down memory lane and shared a throwback photo of herself. Taking to her Instagram Stories on Friday, Kangana shared an old picture from her childhood. In the photo, the actor strikes a dancing pose in his garden. In the picture, Kangana is wearing a blue and white saree, with her hair in a bun and red flowers. She smiled and looked away from the camera in the picture.
Sharing it, Kangana wrote, “Like most girls when I was 10 or 11 I wore my mother’s saree and stole the lipstick @rangoli_r_chandel hand band and pretended to be a classical dancer… ha ha.”
Born in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut has two siblings. She has an elder sister, Rangoli Chandel, and a younger brother, Akshat Ranaut. She often shares pictures and videos with her family members on different occasions on Instagram. Last week, Kangana shared a note wishing Rangoli Chandel on her birthday. Kangana shared a picture on Instagram which she captioned, “Happy Birthday Sunshine.”
Recently, Kangana Ranaut has wrapped up the Assam schedule of her upcoming drama film Emergency, which is also her first solo directorial venture. Crisis focuses on the political turmoil caused by the National Emergency imposed by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975. It stars Kangana in the role of a late politician. Apart from Kangana, the film also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Choudhary, Vishak Nair and Shreyas Talpade in lead roles.
Kangana Ranaut will also be seen in the film Tejas in which she will be seen in the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. Apart from that, she also has films like Manikarnika Returns, The Legend of Didda, and The Incarnation: Sita. Kangana’s upcoming production venture Tiku Marries Sheru starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in lead roles will stream exclusively on OTT platform Prime Video.
Recently, it was announced that Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Chandramukhi 2, the sequel to Rajinikanth’s 2005 Tamil film. The upcoming film is a sequel to Rajinikanth and Jyothika’s hit comedy horror Chandramukhi directed by P Vasu. Tamil actor-director Raghav will play the lead role alongside Lawrence Ranaut. She also has a biopic on Bengali theater legend Noti Binodini, directed by filmmaker Pradeep Saraka, in the pipeline.
